Android 4.2's People app features only 11 months in a year; ‘December’ missing

Android 4.2's People app features only 11 months in a year; ‘December’ missingAccording to a recent Android Police report, the Android contacts apps in Google's newly-released Android OS 4.2 `Jelly Bean' version has a glaring omission - that of the month of `December'!

As per Android Police, the flaw is apparently limited only to the People app and does not affect Android's Calendar app. A side-by-side image of the People app of Android 4.2 on the Android Police site clearly showed that the mentioned app features only eleven months in one year, with the month of December being noticeably missing from it.

Even though the Android Police pointed out that Android 4.2's People app is replete with the standard stuff which is associated with the Android OS, it also drew attention to the fact that the users of the app will not be able to key in `December' as the birth month of any of their contacts.

However, with the conspicuous omission of December in Android 4.2's People app having already been reported to the Android bug tracker, and the issue having now been acknowledged by Google, Android Police said that a scrutiny of the Android Open Source Project's (AOSP) code for Android 4.2 has revealed that the omission of December is a fairly minor bug that can be fixed with some tweaking by Google; such that `December' is finally brought on to all compatible handsets!
