Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil granted divorceFeat

Amy WinehouseLondon  - Troubled British signer Amy Winehouse, 25, and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil have been granted a divorce, media reports said Thursday.

The London High Court had granted Fielder-Civil, 27, a fast-track divorce. He started divorce proceedings in January on the grounds of Winehouse's alleged infidelity and after months of speculation that the couple's tempestuous relationship was over.

He and Winehouse were not in court on Tuesday.

They tied the knot in May 2007. Media reports portrayed the marriage as a relationship that centred around drugs, alcohol and separation - Fielder-Civil spent months in prison last year for assault.

A spokesman for the singer told the Daily Mirror paper that Winehouse was now "concentrating on the future." Winehouse and Fielder-Civil are not thought to have had any contact in several months.

The Grammy award-winning singer whose debut album includes the hit song Rehab, returned to London earlier in the week following a month- long stay on the Caribbean island of St Lucia.(dpa)
