In September, the American Red Cross and Sport Clips Haircuts will offer a free haircut coupon to blood and platelet donors. The Red Cross and Sport Clip said that there is an unending need for blood. Through this initiative, they expect people will fell encouraged to donate.

Donna M. Morrissey, director of national partnerships, Red Cross Biomedical Services, was of the view, "We are pleased to partner with Sport Clips Haircuts in September nationwide, and through their generosity, offer a coupon for a free haircut to thank our amazing volunteer blood donors for their lifesaving gift to help patients in need".

Donna explained that people who will be present to give blood or platelets in September will get a free haircut coupon through email after a few days of making their donation. One can avail the coupon till November 8. It is mandatory to have a valid email address on record to receive the coupon.

The initiative has been named as 'Saving a Life Never Looked So Good'. Red Cross communication manager Tiffany Taylor said that they are thankful to Sport Clips for being so community-minded.

Taylor has urged everyone for the donation. There is no better feeing than to know that they have helped saving life of up to three people by just taking out a small out of time for the lives. Donors of all blood types and especially O negative, A negative and B negative have been urged to come forth and fulfill their social responsibility.
