This has led to the various services like Blackberry, Gmail and Skype swinging into the center of demand in a period of just few weeks. A high profile meeting has been scheduled for the 20th of this August which witness the presence and participation various senior officials of DRDO, Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), security agencies, the Cabinet secretariat and the National Technical Research Organization (NTRO) among others.
This meeting has been arranged for with the purpose of reviewing the surveillance systems installed in all parts of the country by C-DOT which is used to extract information by the government on the basis of security requirements. C-Dot systems help in monitoring all the gateways of international internet traffic in our nation but of late the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and National Investigation Agency (NIA) have demanded fresh scrutinizing systems.
