Acer to remunerate retail partners with new schemes
Acer has launched new schemes for its retail partners. The schemes are called the Acer Retail League and had been in the news for quite sometime.
Acer in general categorizes its retail partners into Acer Malls i. e. the exclusive brand stores and Acer Points which are multi-brand outlets. The retailers are given their targets which are based on their categorizations.
The first scheme is called 'MS Acer League'. As the name suggests, it rewards the associates on pick-up of Microsoft Windows-based machines with respect to their targets. This scheme is calculated on a monthly basis.
The second one is called the 'Acer Retail Cup'. Here the associates are allotted their quarterly targets depending on the category of outlets. They are awarded based on the completion of work. They are given cash rewards and/or trips once they reach 100 per cent, 150 per cent and 200 per cent of their fixed targets.
The rewarding scheme will be starting this month will go on till April 2010.
Said S. Rajendran, CMO Acer India said, "We through this scheme aim to infuse the retail channels business with high levels of energy and motivation, critical for driving sales and powering the success of the brand".
