Acer, third largest vendor in the global PC market, has introduced three new smartphones - beTouch E 101, beTouch E200 and neoTouchS200, in the Indian market.

Mr. Richard Tan, Country Head India Smart Handheld Business Group, Acer said that the new Smart Handheld devices, neoTouch and beTouch, reflects company’s strategic intention to become the leader in the mobile market.

Acer has targeted the youth with its beTouch E101, which has a 3.2 inches touch screen. Moreover, the handset comes preloaded with latest version of Internet Explorer, Windows Marketplace and Live Messenger. It is priced at Rs 11,900.

For internet savvy, the company has rolled out Touch E200, which is available at a price of Rs 17,900. It claims to provide easy connectivity to the Internet. It comes packed with a 3.0 inch touch screen display and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Priced at Rs 35,000, the neoTouch is a feature rich high-end smartphone. It is a 3G enabled phone with a 3.8 inches touch screen. It also offers connectivity through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Mr. Tan added that they have joined hands with Tata Docomo for the new smartphones that permits the customers to get a free download of 500 Mb per month over a period of six months.
