AC/DC's founding member Malcolm Young is suffering from dementia

Malcolm YoungWashington, Oct 3 - AC/DC's guitarist Malcolm Young's family has revealed that the musician is suffering from dementia .

Young's family thanked everyone for respecting their privacy, People Magazine reported.

A source said that the 61-year-old musician had a complete loss of short-term memory.

AC/DC is set to release their new album in December where Young's nephew will accompany the band as their guitarist on their world tour in 2015. (ANI)
