Amitabh Bachchan received an SMS on his phone threatening him to pay an atrocious Rs 25 crore or face fatal consequences. The Message was sent by a look-alike of Abhishek Bachchan, Raj Purohit who was arrested from Jhalore District in Rajasthan.

Raj Purohit had met the team of Drona while it was in Rajasthan and posed successfully as a duplicate of Abhishek Bachchan .He even did a few scenes in the film as Junior B’s dummy. Earlier Purohit had tried his hands at acting in bollywood as well as some Rajasthani films, but had failed to do so. He therefore choose an easier way to earn money. It is also believed that, Purohit had also visited Aishwarya’s house on the day of the wedding. The newspapers had cried hoarse about the incident.

Big B did receive a few harmless SMS’s from this man previously on family members birthdays and also when Teji Bachchan passed away. His SMS’s were occasionally acknowledged. The Extortionist hails from Pokhran area in Rajasthan and has a wife and two children. The man will be produced in court on Tuesday.
