38 ULFA militants surrender in Assam
Guwahati, Jan 24: 38 ULFA militants, including a female have surrendered at Tamulpur in Assam’s Bagcha District.
The militants also handed over 18 grenades, 22 detonators, 30 kilograms of explosives and 26 weapons.
They surrendered before Lieutenant General B. S. Jaswal and the State Director General of Police R N Mathur.
State authorities have promised them vocational training and proper rehabilitation.
Around 250 militants have surrendered in the last three months in the state. (ANI)
