Jani Jaynath Kadu (32), a resident of Kuksheth Village in Nerul committed suicide on Sunday morning by jumping into a pond in the village. Jani got married five years ago with Jaynath Kadu, who had already got married ten years ago and had three daughters in the first relation. Jani's parents were against the marriage since Kadu was a married man. After the marriage, Jani's parents broke all the relations with her. "Jani was mentally disturbed since her parents broke contacts with her. Later on, the couple started having fights due to which she was more disturbed and finally took the drastic step," an official from Nerul Police Station said.
