1ST LEAD: Blast kills one in Pakistani capital Islamabad - At least one person was killed and several more were injured on Monday in an explosion outside an office of the police's intelligence wing in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, an eyewitness said.

"It was apparently a suicide bombing," said Ramzan Ahmad. "The bomber blew himself up when he was stopped at the gates of the police' special branch office."
