1 killed, 11 injured in Quetta blast
Quetta, July 4 : A minor girl was killed and 11 others were injured in a bomb blast, which took place at Mannan roundabout on Jinnah Road in Quetta today.
The bomb was planted on a motorbike, which exploded in a crowded market.
All the victims were passers-by. Sources said two policemen were also among the injured.
The injured have been shifted to the nearby civil hospital for treatment.
Police has cordoned off the area after the explosion, sources said.
Quetta is the capital of southwestern Baluchistan province in Pakistan where authorities have blamed armed tribesmen for bombings and attacks against the Government.
Ethnic-Baluch tribesmen have been waging a low-level insurgency to press calls for greater provincial autonomy and control over natural resources in Baluchistan. (ANI)
