Lahore, Jan. 14 : Dismissing reports about Pakistan President, Asif Ali Zardari, attending the swearing-in ceremony of the US President-elect Barack Obama, the US has said that no foreign leaders have been invited to attend the ceremony.

According to the Daily Times, the invitations issued by the US Secretary of State have names of foreign ambassadors and their wives only, as guests for the ceremony in Washington DC on January 20.

Earlier, a Pakistan official had said that Zardari has been invited to attend Obama's oath taking ceremony, and he will be leaving for Washington on January 19. (ANI)
