World champions Austria take ski-jumping event in Finland Lahti, Finland  - World champions Austria on Saturday won the team ski-jumping event in Finland's Lahti, beating the hosts Finland into second place.

Austria took first place with 1,017.5 points - just 3.7 points ahead of Finland. Third place went to Norway (996.8 points), ahead of Germany.

The Austrian team benefited by a magnificent jump from Wolfgang Loitzl, who soared 128.5 metres for 126.5 points. He was helped by Martin Koch (122.5m), Thomas Morgenstern (118.5m) and Gregor Schlierenzauer (126.5m). (dpa)
