Woody Allen’s ‘Whatever Works’ to kick-start Tribeca film festival
Washington, Mar 04 : Woody Allen’s flick ‘Whatever Works’ is all set to kick-start the Tribeca film festival.
The flick also marks Allen''s return to New York, where he has shot most of his films before making his last four films in the U. K. and Spain, reports Contactmusic.
The Tribeca festival was founded by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal in 2002 following the 9/11 attacks, in a bid to boost New York as a major filmmaking center and aid in the recovery of lower Manhattan from the attacks.
‘Whatever Works’ features Larry David in his first role in a flick. (ANI)
