Woody Allen impresses Polish fans with debut concert
London, December 30 : Woody Allen and his fellow jazz band members impressed fans in Poland with their first concert in the country.
The clarinettist, also hailed for his reputation as a film director, writer, actor, comedian, and playwright, earned himself a standing ovation from nearly 3,000 fans.
The 73-year-old took to the stage with his New Orleans Jazz Band on December 28 at Warsaw's Sala Kongresowa concert hall.
The Daily Express reported that the `jack of all trades' had told the audience, "We will do our best to entertain you."
The veteran barely performs outside small venues in his Manhattan hometown, with occasional appearances at various jazz festivals. (ANI)
