Winehouse’s boss jets to St Lucia to ‘drive some common sense’ into her
London, January 24 : `Havoc-wreaking' Amy Winehouse's record label chief jetted to the singer's holiday destination St. Lucia to `drive some common sense' into her, according to reports.
Universal's commercial director Brian Rose flew to the Caribbean after reportedly having had enough of the pop star's drunken cavorting and crazy antics, sources have revealed.
The `Rehab' hitmaker had been photographed crawling up to holidaymakers at a posh hotel and grabbing their drinks after fed-up resort staff refused to serve her.
Amy, who vowed to make a fresh start in 2009, including getting rid off her drug and alcohol addiction, had also got herself nearly charged with assault after she threw a glass of water at a woman tourist.
Though Universal insisted the meeting was to discuss future projects, reports have suggested otherwise.
"Brian has been told to drive some common sense into Amy and find out what the hell is going on," the Sun quoted a label insider as saying.
"There don't seem to be any solid plans for new music. But Universal is a business and it needs to know what is happening with one of its biggest talents," the insider added. (ANI)
