Volkswagen gets innovative with Polo
While the German auto major is known for its innovative marketing strategy in the global arena as well, Volkswagen is certainly replicating a large chunk of its successful ideas in the Indian market as well.
After launching activities like the Polo Cup, Volkswagen has now gone a step ahead this time by launching the two-day fitness camp in the scenic South-Indian hill station of Ootacamund (Ooty).
While the camp was for the drivers participating in the Polo Cup itself but the fact of the matter is the company has been catching the fancy of the consumers via such activities. It may be recalled here that the company did a roadblocking activity in Times of India a little while back wherein Volkswagen had 13 advertisements in the paper.
Mr. Prithviraj Siddappa, Head of Volkswagen Motorsports India said that Volkswagen is taking the driving experience to the next level and as even after the fitness test was done before the kick-off of the tournament, the company will do it every weekend.
Abhimanyu Sable, Founder MD & CEO, ABS Fitness & Wellness Club said that this experience will be very valuable for the Polo Cup drivers.
