Vivek And Priyanka Sport Matching Crimson Shades On 'Mehendi Ceremony’
Vivek Oberoi's big day finally arrived and the couple took the wedding vow yesterday at a sprawling farm house in Bangalore. But before this, they had a grand `mehendi' ceremony. Both Vivek and Priyanka were seen sporting matching shades of crimson on the occasion.
The 28-year-old bride-to-be was sported in an orange ghagra choli on the `mehendi' ceremony. Vivek arrived at Bangalore following a hectic schedule of promotion for his latest release Rakta Charitra. Yesterday, the couple got married in a traditional ceremony in presence of family, friends, relatives and celebrity guests.
Priyanka is a management graduate from London, who is daughter of ex- Karnataka Minister, late Jeevraj Alva. Vivek had put on a crimson apparel matching with his fiancé. He seemed relaxed and comfortable and was seen chatting with the invitees on the occasion.
Sources informed that the lunch was a mix of culinary delights from Italy, besides some light refreshments. The late evening party was accompanied by a fusion of Punjabi and South Indian cuisines with some special dishes.
The ambience of the evening was set by long white drapes, flowers, lush greenery and scented oils. Drummer Sivamani performed to entertain the invitees and DJ Jasmeet tuned into some latest numbers from Vivek's latest release Rakta Charitra as well as some other Bollywood numbers from the actor's films.
On the wedding ceremony, the couple will be dressed with designer Tarun Tahilani's creations. So, will they sport some matching costumes on the wedding day too?
The update on their wedding day ceremonies will come up soon.
