Two jawans injured in firing

Two jawans of the Border Security Force (BSF) were injured in firing from Pakistan at the border near Jammu. The troops came under heavy fire when a group of infiltrators tried to sneak into Indian Territory.

This happened early in the morning on Tuesday in Makwal area, about 20 km north-west of Jammu, according to BSF. But BSF didn't confirm whether it was a firing from Pakistani rangers to help the intruders or the infiltrators opened fire.

The BSF immediately retaliated. But the causality on the other side is not known.
