Tiger Airways Australia aiming to revive business after rebranding
Aviation firm, Tiger Airways Australia has indicated that it is aiming to revive its operations in the region following a rebranding effort from the company's management.
Following the rebranding effort, the company will be called Tigerair Australia. The company said that the changes are a part of the group wide rebranding effort aimed at better connecting with the customers. The company also displayed its first plane with the new branding theme at Melbourne Airport this morning.
The rebranding will see leaping Tiger logo replaced with a new design that displays corporate personality that is "warm, passionate and genuine", according to the company. Tigerair Australia chief executive Rob Sharp said that company is ready to accept changes and increase its share in the budget airline market.
"Today's news is much more than just a fresh coat of paint and a new logo - it is the start of the revival of our airline here in Australia and should be seen as reinforcement of our commitment towards continuous innovation and improvement. The strategic repositioning of the brand will assist us through a significant period of growth over the coming years," he said.
As part of the effort, the company will also launch a new-look website and new customer products in coming months aimed at improving the travel experience for customers.
