Melbourne, June 1 : A British teenager claims a picture he snapped while attending a wedding at a Scottish castle proves ghosts exist.

Connor Bond took the picture at Tulloch Castle in Dingwall, already famed for its ghostly residents.

It was when they downloaded the image on to their computer and saw the picture, that they realised they have actually clicked a ghost. The picture showed a ghostly hand and a swirl of mist around it.

Though they call themselves as sceptics, Connor and dad Mike, 52, now believe in the existence of ghost and they believe that they will be proven right after experts examine the picture.

"You can clearly see this ghostly figure on the staircase. You can see a hand on the banister and what appears to be a white mist around it. Being a sceptical person I thought Connor had done something to the picture but he says not and I believe him,” Courier Mail quoted Mike, as saying.

Tulloch Castle belongs to 13th century architecture and has a long history of ghostly activity. One of the most famous of such stories is the Green Lady who has been seen by dozens of people, and even has the castle's bar named after her.

It is believed that she is the ghost of Elizabeth Davidson, and it was her family who once owned the castle where her portrait hangs in the Great Hall.

"I just don't see what else it could be - it's a digital camera so you can't accidentally double expose the shot and Connor swears there was no one around at the time. It's a mystery,” said Mike. (ANI)
