London, November 13 : Robbie Williams had tears in his eyes when he joined his former ‘Take That’ bandmates, after 15 years, at a concert recently.

The group was present at the gig for the Children In Need at London''s Royal Albert Hal.

The singer and group member Gary Barlow shared the stage along with other star performers to sing the Beatles track ‘Hey Jude.’

Gary announced Williams’ entry onstage, he said: "What a beautiful place we are in tonight. What a perfect time to introduce an old friend of ours. Please welcome on stage Robbie Williams!"

The ‘Angels’ hitmaker was found overwhelmed by the occasion.

He intended to hug his former group members Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, but they had slipped away to let the singer belt out his new single ‘Bodies.’

"I was tearing up before I came on, knowing what was just about to happen and what the reaction was going to be like," the Sun quoted Williams as saying.

However, he regretted the band not spending much time on stage.

He said: "We should have milked it for a lot longer. I was trying to call them back and do a bow. It''s the first time in 15 years we were together, we should have at least stayed for 15 minutes.

"While they were singing I wanted to grab a mic and start singing too. It would have to have been Back For Good.

"I''m not nervous around them any more because we''ve spent a lot of time around each other now. All the bitterness and resentment has gone. We''re just left with four lovely lads who I love to pieces. It''s total respect now."

Williams hinted that a reunion is on the cards.

He added: "The ball is definitely rolling. We don''t know how to do it yet, nothing is planned but I''ll be keeping the Brits to myself. We''ll save it for something special." (ANI)
