Kareena Kapoor stormed the industry with her zero size figure in Tashan. Recently she launched her dietician Rujuta Diwekar's book 'Lose Your Weight Not Your Mind' in Mumbai. Rujuta Diwekar is the person behind size zero Kareena.

Kareena praised her dietician for her balanced approach. She said: "I had not been to a dietician before I met Rujuta and her whole approach appealed to me. I come from a hearty Punjabi family with a close attachment to food."

She also gave some tips to youngsters to stay 'fit and healthy'.

Fujifilm has announced its new 10-megapixel FinePix Z30. The exclusive features include fairly basic ultracompact camera with a 3X optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD.

There are some other features too which makes it quite different from other youth-oriented models.

Apart from having face detection and automatic scene recognition to help with fast shooting, the camera also has a Blog Mode (a carryover from the Z20fd) that apparently preps shots and video so they can go right online for sharing.

Today an announcement related to the latest handsets was made by HTC at the Mobile World Congress in Spain, which also included the Touch Diamond 2 and the Touch Pro 2. It would be nice to know that both the sets run Windows Mobile and will be upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5.

The unique TouchFLO 3D interface by HTC is used as an overlay on both handsets to Windows Mobile 6.1.

It has come to light that Nvidia is working with Google on Android phones as it turns off its Windows-Mobile-only strategy.

An announcement was made at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona by Nvidia that with the aim to get its Tegra processor into Android phones, it has started working with Google and the Open Handset Alliance. Basically, Tegra is a system-on-a-chip, which integrates an ARM applications processor and Nvidia's GeForce graphics silicon, among other functions. The motive is to bring vigorous PC-like graphics to small devices.

At the GSMA World Congress 2009, a number of announcements were made by the LG Electronics, one of which included its alliance with Microsoft to make Windows Mobile the chief operating system for the company's smartphones.

It was announced by LG that as part of the agreement, a tenfold increase of Windows Mobile devices in 2009 would be created by it. The company got things started with the introduction of LG-GM730.

There were loads of rumors that were floating around as to what Acer would launch at its planned Monday press conference even weeks before at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona.
