ISI chief will visit India: Pakistan

India, PakistanNew Delhi, Nov. 28 : The Government of Pakistan today agreed to India''s demand to send the chief of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) to New Delhi to share information on ways to tackle the menace of terrorism.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi announced that ISI Director-General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Shujaa Pasha would soon visit New Delhi, as was desired by the Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

Istrael Ansari had gone to the city's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station on Wednesday night to see off members of his family when the terrorists struck.

Ansari had gone to get a bottle of water from a nearby shop when terrorists sprayed bullets killing all of his family members within minutes.

"Six people from my family have died, one of them is my brother," an inconsolable Ansari told the NDTV network.

Manmohan Singh requests Gilani to send ISI chief to India

Manmohan SinghNew Delhi, Nov 28 : The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, on Friday requested his Pakistan counterpart Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to send Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Lieutenant General Ahmed Shuja Pasha to India to share information about the Mumbai terror attacks.

Dr. Singh’s request was made during a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Gilani. Gilani had called to express his grief over the loss of lives in Mumbai.

He denounced the act of terrorism in Mumbai and assured Dr. Singh of his full cooperation.

Bruce Willis reaches out-of-court settlement over the ‘Green Rubber’ dispute

The ‘Die Hard’ actor got into a dispute with the company over a 2million-dollar investment in "green rubber”, but his attorney revealed that the lawsuit had been amicably resolved, and that it resulted from a series of miscommunications, reports the China Daily.

863 Candidates for Delhi polls

863 Candidates for Delhi pollsA total of 863 candidates are in fray for Delhi polls, which will be held for 69 seats of the 70-member Assembly.

Polling to the Rajinder Nagar seat has been postponed to 13th December following the death of BJP candidate and sitting legislator Puran Chand Yogi.

The campaigning for the polls ended on Thursday. Delhi is witnessing a keenly fought electoral tussle between Congress and BJP where Mayawati-led BSP is likely to play a spoilsport.

BJP has projected senior party leader Bijoy Malhotra as its Chief Ministerial candidate.
