Islamabad, Oct 1 : With less than a week to go for the presidential elections in Pakistan, uncertainty continues to prevail as to whether President General Pervez Musharraf would shed his uniform before seeking re-election on October 6, or he would wait till November 15.
There is no doubt in any official quarter that the President will have to quit his army slot by November 15 this year. The period during which he would say goodbye to the Pakistan Army spans approximately six weeks – from October 6 to November 15, The News reported.

Lahore, Oct 1 : The second Indo-Pak Students Peace Camp will begin in Chandigarh tomorrow to promote peace and people-to-people contact, especially between the youth of the two countries.
Twelve Pakistani students are leaving for Chandigarh today via Wagah to participate in the camp.
Mubashir Ahmed, the Centre for Youth Development and Activities (CYDA) coordinator, said that the CYDA, in collaboration with several Indian organisations, was working to develop relations between India and Pakistan.
Islamabad, Sep 30 : The All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) has collected as many as 84 resignations from the National Assembly members and 152 from the members of provincial assemblies till now.
The APDM would furnish these resignations to the Speakers of the national and provincial assemblies respectively on October 2, as decided by the alliance.
Convenor of the alliance’s Joint Action Committee (JAC) Raja Zafarul Haq announced it in a press conference here.
Karachi, Sep 30 : Pakistan’s Supreme Court senior judge, Justice Rana Bhagwan Das, has said that the law relating to the President Pervez Musharraf’s dual office is wrong and the decision that he gave is based on the "call of his conscience."
Talking to journalists after a programme organised by the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), he said that he had annulled the act regarding the holding of two offices by Musharraf.
