Islamabad, Nov 14 : If official figures are to be believed, on an average one woman is killed for honour every day in Pakistan, as a total of 1019 women were killed during the past three years in the country.
According to crime-against-women statistics revealed in the country’s National Assembly last evening, more than 7000 cases of rape and murders of women were registered between 2005 and 2007.
