Pakistan FlagKarachi, Mar 17: The stalemate over who will be the next Prime Minister of Pakistan is likely to end soon, some PPP members said.

Former federal minister N D Khan of the PPP said, "Nothing is unusual if one keeps the present circumstances in view. The war of speculations on the suitable candidate will end soon.”

“The next government will have to build a consensus before taking any decisions and the party cadres are united,” The Daily Times quoted him, as saying.

"Makhdoom Amin Fahim is our senior leader and we all respect him. Zardari and Makhdoom would keep the PPP united and intact, “said the elderly Thaheem.
