Studying aerosols may lead to improved climate predictionsWashington, Jan 17 : A NASA-led report issued by the U. S. Climate Change Science Program has determined that scientists need to study how aerosols affect climate in order to produce better predictions of Earth's future climate.

Titled "Atmospheric Aerosol Properties and Climate Impacts," it is the latest in a series of Climate Change Science Program reports that addresses various aspects of America's highest priority climate research, observation and decision-support needs.

If Obama retains his hand-held electronic device, he will become the first sitting president to use e-mail.

However, no final decision has been made as yet on whether Obama will continue using his Blackberry.

Previous presidents did not use e-mail because it can be subpoenaed by Congress and courts and may be subject to public records laws.

As per the records, Sullenberger, was a straight-A student as a schoolboy in Denison, Texas, with a 99th percentile in every academic category, and with an IQ that qualified him for the `genius society' Mensa when he was just 12 years old.

Taiwan welcomes US removal of the island from forgery watch listTaipei - Taiwan Saturday welcomed a US decision to remove the island from the so-called Special 301 watch list of countries failing to protect intellectual property rights.

"This shows our efforts to stamp out violation of intellectual property rights have borne fruit," said Wang Mei-hua, director of the Intellectual Property Office under the Economics Ministry.

She said the government will do all it can to uphold protection of IPRs in Taiwan.
