SuperGroup’s retail sales rose 20 per cent in second quarter

SuperGroup group, which is headed by founder Super Groupand beloved of teenagers, has said that it has recorded an increase of 20 per cent in sales during the second quarter of the year.

The company said that its retail sales for the 13 weeks till October of £63.5 million and wholesale revenues rose 16.7 per cent to £53.1million. The total sales of the company was recorded at £116.6million, recording an increase of
18.5 per cent. It is the company's eighth straight rise in electricity.

Dunkerton said, "Our trading performance, the positive customer reaction to new product ranges and the preparation ahead of peak trading, provides me with confidence in our ability to meet market expectations."

The shares of the company have risen 230 per cent since its debut in2010. The shares moderated in the previous year and have risen by more than 100 per cent since the beginning of 2013. The shares of the company rose 20p to 1226p in the stock market. The company said that its Internet sales from Europe and the rest of the world indicating that the international appeal of the Superdry brand has risen in recent quarters.
