Drug manufacturer Sun Pharma Ltd declared that it received authorization from USFDA to sell alprazolam tabs in four potencies including 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg and 2 mg.

Alprazolam tablets, equivalent to Pfizer's Xanax tabs, are suggested for the treatment of anxiety disorder or the short-term relief of symptoms of anxiety.

It is also suggested for the treating panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia.

On June 17, the company declared that USFDA has given an approval for its ANDA to sell generic version of Keppra Injection, levetiracetam injection.

Annual sale in the United States for levetiracetam jab stood at $85 million.

Levetiracetam is suggested as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial onset seizures in adults with epilepsy.
