‘Style-lacking’ Jordan denies being refused designer dresses
London, March 3 : Katie Price a. k. a. Jordan has slammed claims made by a Brit designer that she was refused a gown because "she's not chic enough."
London-based designer Julia Clancey, whose previous clientele include Paris Hilton and Simon Cowell's ex Terri Seymour, had said that she had refused to lend her dress owing to Katie's dressing style.
"I had to refuse. My dresses have a stylish image and Jordan doesn't fit in with that," the Sun quoted Julia as saying.
However, Katie, married to singer Peter Andre, confirmed only the contrary saying she was least bothered about Brit snobs trying to get publicity.
The glamour model said: "There was no problem as far as I was concerned. The outfit I was going to wear was stuck in Customs so my stylist just got me another one.
"I didn't approach this designer. I've never even heard of her and, with that attitude, I'm not surprised she's not more famous.
"If people want to be snobby it really doesn't bother me. There are so many other people around who can offer me better stuff.
"That's what I love about America - if you're good at something they celebrate it. In England you can get knocked for being good. But to be honest, I don't take it personally, it just makes me laugh.
"We don't mix with celebs in England and we're not mixing with them here. We don't use people just to get publicity." (ANI)
