Skoda Auto continues its growth momentum
The fully owned Indian subsidiary of the Czech auto major Skoda has been able to maintain its growth momentum in the Indian market even for the last month i.e. August 2010.
For the uninitiated, the company has registered a growth of close to 24% as its sales figures stood at an impressive 1511 units, way up as compared to the units sold in the last month i.e. July 2010.
Thomas Kuehl, Director & Board Member, Sales and Marketing, SkodaAuto India said that the company is very happy to maintain its growth trajectory in the Indian market. In fact, Kuehl also mentioned the fact that the company is very much excited about the upcoming Yeti which has got a very good response from the Indian market so far.
Ashutosh Dixit, Senior General Manager, Sales and Marketing, SkodaAuto India said that the growth is a clear result of the care for the consumer that Skoda has been doing for the past many years. It is to be mentioned here that the company recently launched a program named Skoda Shield wherein, the company has offered a package deal to the consumer to make the after sales more affordable.
