Shahbaz denies Saudi-Nawaz deal for Sharifs return to Pak

Pakistan Muslim League-N President Shahbaz SharifLahore, Nov 23: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif has denied that the Saudi authorities and his elder brother Nawaz Sharif have formulated any deal to facilitate their family’s return to Pakistan.

The Dawn News quoted Shahbaz, as saying that important members of the Sharif family, including himself and his elder brother, were preparing to return to Pakistan and hoped a major development in that regard could take place within 24 hours.

According to media reports, Nawaz Sharif is expected to make another comeback bid to the country by November 26.

On September 10, the Pakistan Government deported Nawaz Sharif back to Jeddah upon his arrival to his homeland after seven years.

It has been reported that Nawaz Sharif wil be meeting King Abdullah in Riyadh today on the latter’s invitation. His son Hasan and son-in-law Captain Safdar will also accompany him.

King Abdullah provided the plane, which flew Nawaz Sharif into Riyadh, sources said. (ANI)
