Security for the flight is taking a toll!

airport-securityJust to board the flight in Toronto to United States, a passenger has to scan himself and his belongings through eight different security check lines. Most of the passenger now a days could be seen on the airport at Toronto a knee down position jostling with their unpacked luggage or their belongings being thoroughly been checked and some times lying scattered on the security tables.

The security has come into alert after the underwear bomber act on the Miami to Toronto flight, has come into scene. So now there are restrictions as well on the carry-on luggage. However, the security has been into play ever since the Dec. 25 bombing attempt rolled in. Since then, the travelers to U. S. have been facing much of a security panic.

Further the federal government has announced new security rules for the inbound passengers that they now have to face the individual searches. These searches include the pat-downs, emptying out the carry-on luggage and even scanning of wallets and personal papers could be made mandatory while looking at the present unsecured scenario.

When the rules are executed, it will be here to stay for an elongated time period until and unless some hi-tech equipment's like body scanners replace the time consuming manual security check at the airports. And for the much awaited season that is spring and summer, where the traveling is at its best, the passengers might have to face the inclined level of hassles and delays.

Till now the delay of 3 to 4 hours is a casual scene at international airports in the past few weeks after the bombing attempt have subsided. Airports, airlines and government agencies around the globe have hired more people to screen and join the league of performing enhanced security that the U. S. requires the most.
