Science Express reaches Delhi
The 'Science Express' which is a state-of-the-art exhibition on a train has reached Delhi Cantonment Railway Station and received good response and large number of people visit the 16-coach fully air conditioned train.
The exhibition includes more than 150 multi-media exhibits and video clips and more than 300 large-format visual images relating to the highly advanced scientific research. The exhibition will be in Delhi till April 9 and will open every day from 10 am to 5 pm.
The innovative exhibition is joint initiative of the ministry of science and technology, the Vikram Sarabhai Community Science Centre, Germany-based Max-Planck-Gesellschaft Company and Indian Railways.
The science express will visit 56 locations and travel 18,000 km during its ongoing third phase. The third phase began in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, on October 2.
Large groups of students in also most all locations gather to see the exhibition when it remains opens on each location for a few days. More than 5 million people have visited the exhibition across India as yet.
