Sarah Palin thinks Obama made a mistake in not picking Hillary Clinton as his running mate
Wasila (Alaska), Sept. 13: Republican vice-presidential nominee and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin believes Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is probably regretting not picking Hillary Clinton as his running mate.
Praising Clinton for her dynamism, Palin told ABC News: "I think he's regretting not picking her now, I do. What, what determination and grit, and even grace through some tough shots that were fired her way -- she handled those well."
Before joining the Republican ticket, Palin was critical of Clinton for "whining," about sexism during the primaries.
"When I hear a statement like that coming from a woman candidate with any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism, or maybe a sharper microscope put on her, I think, 'Man, that doesn't do us any good, women in politics, or women in general, trying to progress in this country,'" she said earlier this year.
Clinton, on the other hand, has said little about Palin so far, concentrating on raising funds for the Obama Campaign. She has raised about four million dollars so far.
The Washington Post quotes Clinton’s advisers as saying that she would like to avoid a direct engagement or confrontation with Palin. (ANI)
