San Francisco 49ers join forces with Foliatti Casino to expand gaming presence in Mexico

Pushing ahead with plans to expand its global presence, the San Francisco 49ers have introduced Foliatti Casino as its inaugural "Official Casino Partner" in Mexico, thanks to a multiyear partnership deal between the two parties. Foliatti, a fast-growing Mexican casino brand, is a part of Grupo CECOM and is operates casinos in Monterrey, Guadalajara, the State of Mexico, in addition to online gaming. The collaboration between the San Francisco 49ers and Foliatti Casino introduces the Mexican gambling-friendly property as the primary sponsor for the team's free-to-play game called "Lucky Six" on the 49ers' Spanish website.

The “Lucky Six” is a weekly contest that provides fans with an opportunity to win official team merchandise. With the Foliatti marketing partnership, lucky winners will be able to earn gaming credits that they can use at one of Foliatti's three aforementioned casinos or online.

Expressing excitement about the partnership with Foliatti, San Francisco 49ers’ senior director of partnerships Ryan Connors said it was the first of its kind collaboration, which would allow them to connect with new communities in Mexico and provide special experiences for 49ers fans across the country by working with an authentic brand.

Speaking on the topic, Connors said, “Our collaboration with Foliatti Casino represents an exciting milestone as the first partnership of its kind. We’re thrilled to be pioneering this path with an authentic Mexican brand and grateful that it will enable us to engage with new communities in Mexico and provide unique experiences for 49ers Faithful across the country.”

Apart from sponsoring the "Lucky Six" promotion, Foliatti Casino will serve as the presenting sponsor for the San Franscisco 49ers’ so-called “Official Watch Party” events in Mexico.

This partnership marks the San Francisco 49ers’ first gaming deal in Mexico, while the franchise has other casino collaborations within the United States, mainly with tribes in California. These include marketing deals signed with the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation and the Cache Creek Casino Resort, in addition to an agreement with the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians and the Black Oak Casino Resort. These collaborations allow these casinos to promote their services within Levi's Stadium and in-game materials.

However, it is worth noting here that, the San Franscico 49ers stand apart without sportsbook alliances in California, as the allure of sports betting remains illegal and untapped in the state.
