Russell Crowe does away with his Robin Hood hair
Washington, Mar 28 : New Zealand actor Russell Crowe has revealed that he has cut off his hair, which he had grown for his part as Robin Hood, as he wanted the medieval hero to look different.
Crowe, 44, admits that he has been working around his new look for his past two films, and that he finally decided on playing the part with his hair cropped.
"I just got sick of it. I made two movies working around the length of the hair - just for Robin Hood - and then, once we finally got the green light, and I knew that I had to click into the work-outs seriously, it didn''t suit any more," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
And, unlike previous movies that feature Robin Hood in tights, Crowe has decided to do away with them.
"Basically, the period we''re dealing with is 1198 to 1202 and tights weren''t invented for another 400 years," he said.
"I do have a pretty nice, snazzy pair of leather pants with a rather large cod piece," he added. (ANI)
