Royal Jordanian flight turns back after passenger's death
Amman - An Amman-New York flight of Jordan's national carrier Royal Jordanian turned back to Amman Thursday after a passenger died, an airline statement said.
The 72-year-old passenger with dual Jordanian and American citizenship had shown no sign of ill-health when he checked in with his wife, the airline said.
He was tended by doctors who happened to be on board, but they failed to save his life, it added. The plane resumed its flight after a two-hour delay. dpa
