Row over health at centre stage as Budget cut continues
Assembly Health Minister Edwina Hart has gone against the decision of her department's budget freezing as the contraries seemed to have paid nearly 9,000 nurses.
Conservative opponents seem to argue upon the fact that the Labour-Plaid Assembly administration should have gone with the decision of the UK Government's lead and seemed to have soared the spending with respect to inflation in Wednesday’s budget.
It is stated that the failure to comply against the made decision will lead to cut of £880 million from the NHS over three years, a similar amount required for paying 9,000 experienced staff nurses in the same period or otherwise cost of 140,000 heart bypass operations.
Shadow health minister Andrew RT Davies claimed that the party could easily deal with offering better health services and thus stop the separation of health and social service care.
He said: "This is a crucial budget for Wales and right now it's less draft and more daft. The answer is easy, protect health."
The freeze aims at cut in total revenue of 6.3 per cent after inflation Mrs Hart's department in a period of three years.
