Washington, Dec 29 : Brazilian footballer Ronaldo Luis Nazario De Lima has welcomed his first baby daughter Maria Sofia with fiancee Maria Beatriz Anthony.

Baby Maria Sofia was born on December 24 in Rio de Janeiro, weighing six pounds and six ounces (2.99 kilograms), Contactmusic reports.

Ronaldo, 32, is said to have been present during the whole delivery and to have reportedly cut the umbilical cord himself, with his fiancée's father also there.

This is not the first time that the ace footballer has become a father, for he also has an eight-year-old son with his ex-wife, model Milene Domingues. (ANI)
