Rolls-Royce to release customised cars for Indian customersLuxury carmaker, Rolls-Royce has indicated that it might soon offer customised version of its cars for the Indian customers.

The company said that it will offer customised version of Phantom and Ghost models for the Indian customers. Herfried Hasenoehrl, the company's General Manager for Emerging markets Asia, said that the company is expecting to have the plan ready in two months. He also said that the company is contacting professionals and designers and indicated that the discussions might take some time because the company wants to ensure the quality for its products in the market.

"The customised version can be of Phantom and Ghost series and may not be huge in number. In India what we have seen in the past, since we really focused on this market, our customers have such high standards of taste that we need to get a little bit more into history," he said.

Rolls-Royce is planning to add two more dealerships in Chandigarh and Ahmedabad to tis existing chain of five dealerships. He pointed out that Rolls-Royce is already selling customised versions of its cars in the Middle East market.
