The 36-year-old’s surrender came on Wednesday, a day after an arrest warrant was issued against him, reports People magazine.

He pleaded innocent in a Van Nuys Superior Court, and was released on 110,000-dollar bail.

China FlagNew Delhi, Feb 26 : The US State Department has interfered with the internal affairs of China and some other countries again, groundlessly criticizing them in its 2008 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices presented to the US Congress on Wednesday.

The report turned a blind eye to the efforts and historic achievements China has made in human rights that have been widely recognized by the international community, Xianhua reported.

It willfully ignored and distorted basic facts, assailing China's human rights conditions and making random and irresponsible remarks on China's ethnic, religious and legal systems.

Berlin gives US museum list of Jews in Nazi Germany

Washington  - The first comprehensive list of Jews who were living in Germany when the Nazis came to power was given to a US museum on Wednesday, providing a detailed picture of the population before the Holocaust.

German culture minister Bernd Neumann gave the list of Jewish residents in Germany from 1933 to 1945 to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in a ceremony in Washington on Wednesday.

From some 2.5 million pages of data, about 600,000 people of the Jewish faith have been identified so far. The directory is to be continuously updated with information from the German national archives, and will be being used for historical purposes as well as for family research.
