50 Cent’s wins legal battle against his ex

50 Cent in talks to star in 'Spectacular Regret'New York, Feb 6 : Rapper 50 Cent has won a lawsuit against his ex Shaniqua Tompkins, after a Manhattan judge gave his verdict against her. Shaniqua claimed 50 Cent''s millions, as she is the mother of his child.

However, according to the verdict, she will not even get a single penny.

50 Cent was more than glad when Supreme Court Justice Carol Edmead refuted the suit, ruling that none of Tompkins'' allegations had merit.

Now, software to save organizations £13,000 in electricity bills monthly

Washington, Feb 6 : Large organisations can now save up to 13,000 pounds in electricity costs each month, all thanks to PowerDown, a computer programme that automatically shuts down systems after usage.

Systems experts at University of Liverpool embarked upon the idea of developing the software after realising that universities with PC centres in 24-hour libraries could be losing more than one million hours of unused computer power each month.

They found that 1,600 library-based PC''s alone were using 20,000 kW each week unnecessarily, which make up for approximately 2,400 pounds in current electricity prices.

And, to date, PowerDown has recovered 24 million hours of PC inactivity within the University.

Lil Wayne still a marijuana fan

Lil WayneWashington, Feb 6 : American rapper Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., a. k. a. Lil Wayne has revealed that he is a fan of marijuana and that he still uses the illegal drug for medicinal purposes.

Wayne, who has been arrested twice in the past three years on drug possession charges, with the most recent arrest being in January 2008, let out during a pre-Grammy Awards TV special that he uses the drug for his migraines.

As per his saying, he still smokes marijuana to help combat migraines "that make me wanna just kill myself."
