London, April 20: Queen Elizabeth II enjoys more trust than any other public figure in Britain, according to a new survey.

The YouGov poll, commissioned by insurance firm Hiscox, had carried the survey to find who do people trust most during the credit crunch.

And the 82-year-old Royal emerged the top favourite with 53 per cent of people voting in her favour, reports the Daily Express.

The Monarch piped British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who received 12 per cent votes, in the poll of 2,000 people.

London, April 20: Interest in the art of letter writing has declined since the arrival of email and texting, according to a new research.

As the number of people communicating electronically soars, less than half of 50-year-olds now write personal letters by hand, compared to more than seven in ten 70-year-olds, a survey for Saga magazine found.

The online survey of 11,000 Britons over-50s showed that it was the rise of high-speed communication technologies that have replaced handwritten notes.

Learning disability is significantly more common in males than in females and genetic causes have long been sought on the X chromosome because males have only one X chromosome and so a gene mutation on the X is more likely to have an effect in males than in females.

London, April 20 : Jailed Jack Tweed’s mother and sister have reportedly paid an emotional visit to his late wife Jade Goody’s final resting place on his behalf.

Mary Tweed and her daughter Laura were said to have read tributes to the reality TV star as they sat at the churchyard near Jade’s home in Essex.

The duo had apparently made a promise to Jack, who had lovingly cared for his cancer-stricken wife till she passed away on March 22, that they would visit Jade’s grave while he was locked up in prison, reports the Sun.
