London, Apr 22 : Scottish singer Susan Boyle's rise to fame on Britain's Got Talent has led to many wanting to make a movie on her life, but show boss Simon Cowell has vowed to produce the film himself.

The 47-year-old virgin has been receiving offers from Hollywood directors, and a host of other countries including Japan, Russia, Brazil and Poland, and movie bosses are now on the hunt for stars to play her part.

Boyle has already been made an offer by US film-maker Darla Rae, who runs Film-It Productions in Colorado.

London, Apr. 22: Former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash believes Andy Murray can become the first Brit since Fred Perry to win Wimbledon.

Australian Cash, who won the men''s title himself in 1987, admits he would be surprised if Murray fails to lift a Grand Slam at some point in the near future.

The Sun quoted Cash as saying: "I''d be surprised if he didn''t win a Grand Slam, for sure. You never know with injuries but if it all goes to plan physically, I''d be surprised if he didn''t do it in the next couple of years.

London, April 22 : A team of seismologists has developed an early-warning system that can gauge how long an earthquake rumbles, thus helping tsunami warnings to reach vulnerable coastlines within minutes.

Most tsunami-warning systems work by measuring an undersea earthquake''s magnitude, because those above magnitude 7.5 are considered highly likely to generate a tsunami.

However, it takes at least 30 minutes to measure this accurately.

Previous studies have shown that quakes that shake for a long time are more likely to produce a tsunami.

London, April 22 : Jade Goody had begged her mother Jackiey Budden to smother her with a pillow to put her out of excruciating pain.

Jackiey revealed that the late 27-year-old made the heart-wrenching plea just days before she lost her battle to cervical cancer on Mother’s Day.

“She wanted me to put a pillow over her head,” the Daily Star quoted Jackiey as telling OK! magazine.

“I really didn’t want to see her go that way. I thought: ‘I don’t want to have to suffocate her without anyone knowing.’

The two pranksters had faced much heat after the Andrew Sachs scandal, which led to Brand’s resignation from the BBC in October after he boasted about sleeping with the 78-year-old’s granddaughter.

Ross too had been suspended after making lewd comments on the Fawlty Towers actor’s answering machine.
