William, 26, and Harry, 24, attended the launch of the Henry van Straubenzee fund, which will help equip schools in Uganda with much-needed facilities.

Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997 a, while Henry lost his life, aged 18, in a car smash where he also was a passenger.

The research, led by Dr Hayley Fowler, of Newcastle University, predicts that severe storms - the likes of which currently occur every five to 25 years across the UK - will become more common and more severe in a matter of decades.

Looking at `extreme rainfall events', where rain falls steadily and heavily for between one and five days, the study predicts how the intensity of these storms may change in the future.

Gallas has a hamstring injury, while Silvestre suffered a thigh injury in the FA Cup win over Plymouth last weekend.

Manchester United's Ronaldo unhurt after car crash

Manchester United LogoLondon - Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo emerged unscathed after his Ferrari was involved in an accident on Thursday.

The Portugal international crashed into a barrier as he was driving through a tunnel beneath the runways of Manchester airport.

Ronaldo gave a negative breath test to officers at the scene of the crash, the police said, and Manchester United said he was training as normal.

"He was involved in an incident this morning. No other cars were involved," a United spokesman said.
