Slumdog Millionaire''s child actors to miss Academy AwardsLondon, Feb 14 : Child actors Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail, who starred in the critically acclaimed film `Slumdog Millionaire', will miss the Oscars next week because their parents have allegedly withdrawn their permission for traveling to Los Angeles with other cast members.

According to reports, they have instead asked for the airfares to be paid to them in cash.

The film, which tracks the story of an 18-year-old slum boy from rags to riches, has been nominated for 10 Academy Awards.

Dean is currently living in The Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home on the outskirts of Southampton, from where she set sail aboard the Titanic on April 10, 1912.

She was just nine weeks old when the Titanic disaster occurred.
