Accidentally swallowed chopstick removed from kung fu master’s body after 20 years!New Delhi, March 26 : Twenty years after being accidentally swallowed by a kung fu master during a training session, a chopstick has finally been removed.

The 21-cm stick was ingested by Wing Ma during an exercise.

Ma has revealed that he was conditioning his body to take pain when the accident occurred, Metro reports.

According to the China Daily, the 40-year-old was rid of the chopstick at a hospital in eastern Wuhan, China.

 India, Singapore’s annual naval exercise beginsNew Delhi, Mar. 25 : The annual bilateral naval exercises between the Indian Navy and the Republic of Singapore Navy `SIMBEX 2009' commenced in the Andaman Sea on Wednesday.

SIMBEX, an acronym for `Singapore India Maritime Bilateral Exercise', was formalised a decade-and-a-half ago, when RSN ships began training in Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) with the Indian Navy, in 1994.

As a part of the 16th annual SIMBEX, exercise units will also exercise in the South China Sea until 02 April 2009.

"I was not consulted on the captaincy issue before the final decision was made. I learnt about it from the press," Sourav told a news channel.

Ganguly also added that a team could be expected to do well only if it has a set squad and that cricket was all about giving players confidence and security.

India's Sensex closes with 2-per-cent gain New Delhi - India's benchmark Sensex index rallied for the third-straight day Wednesday, rising 2.08 per cent.

The 30-share sensitive index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, which touched an intraday high of 9,706.47, ended up 196.86 points at 9,667.9.

The Sensex has gained more than 700 points since Monday when it opened at 8,960.

Brokers said the bourse was buoyed by heavy buying of shares in Reliance Industries and other blue-chip realty companies.
